DBM Engineering Management Services (Scotland) Limited was formed in 1986 to provide contract engineering personnel and training to the electronics, high technology, telecommunications, computing, petro-chemical and process industries.

With engineers/technicians assigned to clients' premises at fixed hourly rates, contract engineering becomes a viable option to solving clients' human resourcing problems, economically and quickly. Our main client base includes defence companies, utility companies and telecomunication companies but the list also includes many small independent organisations.

David Hull manages the company's two major clients in Scotland as well as overseeing the engineering/electronics sector overseas.

Brian Greenyer predominately manages the petro-chemical, utility, oil and gas and construction sectors throughout the United Kingdom and overseas as well as controlling the engineering/electronics sector in the west of Scotland.

Karen Oldroyd has been with the company for the past 11 years and now manages the engineering/electronics sector in the east of Scotland.

Our computer-based database system, which contains details of over 10,000 technical personnel, is constantly updated to include additional technical information and any other change of circumstances. From a specification received from a client for contract engineering personnel we can provide a speedy and accurate response with personal details, availability status and costs.

In 1990, a subsidiary company, DBM International Limited, was formed to provide a similar service to European organisations, and since then we have established ourselves as a prime supplier of personnel to several large high technology companies in Spain.

In the latter part of 2000, DBM International's name was changed to Recruitment Ecosse. Since this change, Recruitment Ecosse has now started to provide consultant design personnel  and off site design services to the USA as well as retaining the high technology companies in Spain.
