Looking for an EMC test technician/engineer who has experience of testing products to the Information Technology Equipment (ITE) requirements of the European EMC directive - specifically you will be familiar with the scope of standards EN55022 & EN55024.
Under direct supervision, assists in the engineering test function for standard and/or custom devices. Aids in the design and developing of test procedures and assists in the evaluation of test equipment required to perform quality checks. Prepares recommendations for testing and documentation of procedures to be used from the product design phase through initial production. May construct or assist in the construction of test fixtures. This is the entry level position, requiring basic electronic design knowledge.

Experience in all aspects of reflector antenna design for satellite communications. Of particular importance is experience in i) waveguide components for reflector feeds such as OMT's, filters, diplexers, horns etc and ii) S-parameter and radiation pattern measurements for feed components and complete antennas.
As part of a multi-disciplined, advanced antenna group, but with responsibility for the full RF design cycle, the successful candidate will be expected to interpret specifications, put forward solution concepts, design, test and qualify hardware and finally, release designs to production. Experience in HFSS and equivalent related analysis packages is mandatory in order to meet the challenge of reduced development times and design-for-manufacture issues.
