This is a challenging role, requiring good interpersonal skills for varied interaction both within and outwith the Plant. The ability to work on own initiative as well as being part of a team-based environment is an integral requirement of this position.Commodity Supply Line Management - support of commodity strategies, supplier development programmes, supplier audits, cost management.Commodity Order & Scheduling - order placement and schedule management to support production requirements, use and implementation of automated procurement systems, day-to-day administration of suppliers.Projects - procurement/operations based projects to be allocated as required. Experience Required: The ideal candidate will be a dynamic professional, keen to develop new skills and preferably with previous procurement experience. In addition, they should be a competent self motivated team player with good analytical and PC skills, able to work to deadlines Contact: Brian Greenyer Location: Dundee Contract Length / Permanent Employment: 6 month contract |
